  • The Armada announced that they will be playing home games in 2017 at the University of North Florida’s Hodges Stadium. It seats 9,400.
  • North Carolina FC re-signed two players from last season’s roster, forward Billy Schuler and midfielder Jonathan Orlando.
  • The USL’s Charlotte Independence is bringing back goalkeeper Kyle Renfro for 2017.
  • Nashville SC might not be hitting the field in the USL until 2018, but they hired James Cannon as the club’s Vice President of Marketing and Communications. He brings experience from the NBA, the Olympics, and the World Cup to the Music City.
  • Head coach Chris Little has resigned at Elon University to join the Seattle Sounders’ academy as their new Director of Coaching.
  • Tennessee’s women’s soccer team has seven games scheduled for its spring slate, with three against teams that ranked in the top 12 in 2016.
